V1 install

I remember quite a bit ago there was an article that explained how to mount your V1 detector up high and hard wire it into the cabin lights. Does any one know how this is done or is there a diagram out there? Any help appreciated.

There is "12V switched power" where the dome lights are located (remove the plastic panel). Just splice into a "switched power" wire in there, and clip your V1 onto the sunvisor on the passenger side (on the left side of this visor). You should also connect the ground wire to a grounded screw.
