Default 1980 528i M535 clone

1980 BMW M535 clone. Polaris Silver with black interior. The car has a Metric Mechanic 3.7 with approximately 5,000 miles. The engine has MM’s most aggressive cam, lightened flywheel, ported exhaust manifold and MM’s M5 system 300 exhaust. Also noteworthy: Bilstein shocks, Hartge stress bar, Alpina Suspension, Alpina front and rear ventilated disks,M-1 steering wheel, Scheel racing front seats, M535 front air dam, European bumper, BBS rear spoiler, 16” Alpina wheels with Toyo Proxes 205/55/16 tires. The ac has been converted to R-134a and blows very cold. It also has a UUC short shift kit. I also installed a BBS NOS rear spoiler. All belts, hoses, thermostat, coolant, tune up parts, expansion tank, and vacuum hoses new at time of transplant (4/2002). The right lower ball joint was just replaced and the vehicle just passed inspection in April. I have attempted to describe the vehicle accurately and also to provide a variety of photos. Prior to my purchase of the car from the previous owner in Kansas I spoke to Jim Rowe of Metric Mechanic. I have installed two Metric Mechanic motors in two other BMW’s that I have owned. Jim said that this is one of the cleanest E12’s that he has seen in a long time. The car is very solid and is rust free from top to bottom.
