Default Double din nav. install in my e39

Just wondering if any of you guys have done a double din unit in an e39. I hear there are some duct work clearance issues. If so, did anyone figure out how to mod them. If I don't hear anything back I'll post some pics of it when I'm done.

It was not an issue for my E39. I installed a Pioneer AVIC Z2. I made additional face plates that fit like OEM if you need. I made the face plates with pain staking detail but I had the radio installed by a local shop... Looks like or better than OEM!!!!

Hey,
Finally finished the install. Looks like OEM in person (a different OEM). Made extras in case anyone is interested.

Looks great! Really nice integration while maintaining the stock look.

Cheers, Daniel.

I would also be interested in buying one if you'd be willing to make another! One other question, how is it mounted? I assume there is a different cage made up for it.
